D63 serves more than 3,700 PreK-8th graders at its preschool, five elementary schools, and middle school - helping each student achieve success without boundaries. • An outstanding music program, seven sports offered at Gemini, afterschool activities ranging from chess and science clubs to drama, and a Gemini club led by Maine East’s esteemed Schuler Scholar Program.
• Parent involvement and family activities: PTOs, movie nights, picnics, book fairs, literacy events, and more.
• Skilled support for English language learners. By 6th grade, English language arts test scores for ELL students exceed state standards. Free ESL classes for parents and a Spanish-language parenting class.
• Extensive summer programming: kindergarten readiness for at-risk students, an extended school year program for special needs students, and ELL summer school.
