Descanso/Sherilton Valley Weather Station The Sherilton Valley / Descanso Weather Station is located in Southern California, 40 miles east of San Diego. I am not a meteorologist.

Locally that's on the southwest side of Mount Cuyamaca at the 3,329' level. Specifically we are located on King Creek which is 1 mile west of Green Valley Falls and 3.7 miles north of the Descanso Town Hall. ning a computer network of campus wide irrigation controllers. http://www.calsense.com/ Part of my job involved installing a hybrid weather station that reported to our computer in the irrigation shop. Along with this I had to learn weather basics especially those related to evapotransporation and irrigation scheduling. The technology was new and I enjoyed the challenge. Now the challenge is in getting all this pricey remote weather technology to spit out something useful that can be displayed on the internet. With a dedicated computer I’ve been doing it pretty much nonstop since the late 80’s but while that might make me a computer nerd, I am definitely a not meteorologist.
