Desert Hot Springs High School Bands Committed to Excellence Each student in the program receives a minimum of an fifty minutes of instruction daily and on average will invest over 15 hours weekly.

The instrumental music students of Desert Hot Springs High School are hard working, goal orientated, and dedicated individuals who strive for excellence in all of their endeavors.

This Saturday our DHSHS Band program was very proud to be a part of the very first PSUSD Honor Band concert! We were lucky enough to experience working with guest vocalist Chelsea Chavez, and guest conductor Dr. Gregory Whitmore, who truly brought all the students together to perform five beautiful pieces! Huge thanks to all who came out to support us 🎶😊🦅

🎺All invited to the inaugural PSUSD Honor Band Concert on Saturday, April 25 at 7 p.m. at the Richards Center for the Arts. This special ensemble is composed of student musicians from Cathedral City High School, Desert Hot Springs High School, Rancho Mirage High School, and Palm Springs High School, all of whom were nominated by their Band Directors. The concert will be conducted by Dr. Gregory Whitmore of CSU Fullerton and will also feature soprano soloist Chelsea Chaves and narration by Classical KUSC radio host Rich Capparela. Admission is free and open to the public. Please join us! 🎶
