Meet SUKY… professional couch potato, full-time nap consultant, and part-time snack supervisor 🛋️🐾

At 7 years young, this sweet pitbull has perfected the art of lounging. Her ideal day? A cozy couch, a soft blanket, and a human who respects her very busy nap schedule. Bonus points if snacks magically appear.

SUKY has been waiting at the shelter for over a year… and honestly, that’s a year too long without her own couch to claim. She’s not asking for much—just a comfy spot, some love, and a forever human to binge-watch life with.

Let’s get this girl off the shelter floor and onto her rightful throne 🐶🛋️

Two years. 💔
May 3 marks 730 days of shelter life for Barney… and he’s still waiting.

Barney is a 75 lb boxer/bulldog mix with a BIG personality to match. He loves to run, play, and soak up every ounce of attention from his people. He’s goofy, loyal, and full of life — he just needs the right place to shine.

✔️ Best as the only dog
✔️ Kids 12+
✔️ Needs space to run and get his zoomies out

We are a Southern California–based animal shelter, and Barney is ready to meet you.

Two years is far too long for a dog like Barney to grow up behind kennel doors. He deserves a couch, a yard, and a family to call his own.

Please share Barney’s story — your repost could be the one that changes everything. 🐾

Nico, and Sparkle are on their way to brighter futures ✨🐾

These two were rescued this week by Pug Nation Rescue of LA, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Partnerships like this are everything — they allow our pets to reach farther, connect with wider communities, and get the second chances they deserve.

It truly takes a village, and with the support of incredible rescues like Pug Nation, lives are being changed every single day 💛

Thank you for being part of that mission and helping us create more happy endings.

What an incredible way to close out the season of Cars, Canines & Coffee ☕🐾🚗

We’re so grateful to everyone who showed up and made this final event so special — our dedicated volunteers, our amazing adoption coordinator, our hardworking staff, and every member of the public who came out to support. And a huge thank you to Indio Taphouse for hosting us and giving our shelter pets a chance to shine.

It was a fantastic turnout, and our dogs got the exposure they deserve — now we’re hoping it leads to forever homes 💛

If you met one of our pets and felt that connection, don’t wait — reach out to us so we can help make it official.
