Just to clarify the difference between our weather siren and fire siren. The weather siren will blow one continuous high pitch tone for 3 straight minutes , Never will it change sounds . Our fire siren will go up to a high tone and down to a low tone for several cycles, changing sounds for about one minute. For and example the noon siren sound played several times . Tonight was a very rare and unusual timing , we had a storm rolling in at the Same time we were paged out for a fire . If you are still unaware of what the weather siren sounds like , we test it the first Saturday of every month between the times of 10am-noon.
