This is our largest fundraiser for 2026 to raise the final amount for our new facility, we’re working our way back to the community with Fall Magic 🍄🫶🏻

We jumped into action to provide toys and female supplies for families. We hope to bring them the joy of play and the power community during this difficult time 🫶🏻🫶🏽🫶🏿

Hey everyone! It might seem a little quiet on your feed, but behind the scenes, there is massive action happening every single day. We are officially moved out of 200 S. Main and fully focused on building the future of Back to Play.

Here is a quick look at where we are at, where we are going, and what we are tackling this month:
📍 The Space Search
We are currently perusing two different locations between De Soto and Hillsboro! You might remember a previous location we looked into, but ultimately, the renovation costs just didn't align with our current budget. We are keeping our hopes high and refusing to settle. Our goal is to find a space that allows us to offer the same incredible experience—if not even better—than before, ensuring we can plant deep roots and stick around for many, many years to come.
📝 Our July Goals
We have set some big, solid milestones for the rest of this month:
* Solidifying our new location while continuing to work alongside insurance, contractors, and our wonderful community.
* Writing one of our biggest grants yet to help fund this next chapter.
* Starting "Clause for a Cause" prep! Yes, it’s Christmas in July! We are already meeting with local agencies and volunteers to make sure our holiday giving is bigger and better than ever.

🏅 Save the Date: July 25th!
Speaking of July... we are partnering with the De Soto Farmers' Market for a super fun Family Olympics event on Saturday, July 25th! It’s the perfect way for us to hang out, play, and stay connected while our physical doors are temporarily closed. Stay tuned for more details on that very soon!

We may not be posting daily, but please know we are working tirelessly to turn the page to our best chapter yet. Thank you for standing by us, believing in the "village," and moving forward with us.

We could use a few extra helpers for our family fundraiser tomorrow night at the DeSoto Farmers Market, mostly at our snack table and if you’re interested, face painters! I’ve seen some of your creative magic from coloring at the playroom parents! 😆
