The bottom line is that ground temperatures should be too high for the snow to stick if we get it on Tuesday. But still, please drive with caution, reduce speeds, and keep a safe distance from the vehicles around you.
Travel impacts on Tuesday should be minor. Periods of moderate to heavy snow are possible across far NW North TX and along the Red River, which may create brief travel impacts. Be sure to drive slow and plan ahead if you have travel plans Tuesday/Tuesday night.

Even though we didn’t get the preferred outcome on the field, DeSoto very much appreciates WFAA’s extended coverage to the DeSoto Eagles/Duncanville Panthers football rivalry last Friday. It was especially nice that ABC 8’s Cynthia Izaguirre focused on both communities and invited had Mayors Rachel Proctor of DeSoto and Barry Gordon of Duncanville on for a friendly chat before the game. Here’s a behind the scenes glimpse of that dual interview from Friday at 4PM.
