"I am an older adult who has been disabled for many years. After working in the same career for many years, changes in my schedule made continuing that work no longer possible. When I reached out to Minnesota Social Services for assistance, I was connected with Blue Sky, and I am truly grateful for the support I received.

From the very beginning, Christine from Blue Sky was exceptional. She understood that, because of my disability, any new job would require certain accommodations. She was knowledgeable, personable, and consistently willing to go the extra mile to ensure I felt supported throughout my job search and transition into employment.

Christine made herself available for additional phone calls and in-person appointments whenever needed. She genuinely listened to my goals and limitations, and she took the initiative to research job opportunities on her own. For every position we discussed, she carefully ensured it aligned with my needs, including drive time, schedule, pay, and any necessary adaptations.

Her support did not end once I accepted a position. Christine followed up after my first day and continued checking in for several weeks to make sure both the employer and I were comfortable and satisfied.
