Hannah (Thomas) Braddock's focus & drive as a student was impressive to witness. She’s went into the workforce with CMTA and has continued to impress.

She was a part of the UND Flight Operations Building project in Grand Forks. They partnered with JLG Architects.

Team building and teamwork…those are just a couple of the skills practiced with the M State Architectural Drafting and Design program.

Meet Andrea- Our 2025 Detroit Lakes graduation speaker! 🎓

Andrea is originally from Wykeham Township, MN and shared that her time at M State was shaped by a strong sense of community, supportive instructors and opportunities for personal growth. Through her involvement with Student Government, she became a voice for students across all four of our campuses-building confidence, leadership skills and lifelong connections.

💬 "Graduating from college is a life-changing milestone-not just professionally but personally. My instructors understood how important this step is, and that made all of the difference."

Andrea plans to work in an architectural office for a few years, then pursue her master's degree in architecture with dreams of one day developing affordable single-family housing. 🏡 ✨ Congratulations, Andrea! We are 💙💚

🌟 Alumni Spotlight: Owen Pilcher, 🎓 2025 graduate 🌟

Although he hasn't graduated yet, it's safe to say that Owen has found his groove at Lighthouse Construction (https://lighthouseconstruct.com/) in Detroit Lakes.

Check out this Render vs. Reality he did in Lead, SD as an intern. Some of the highlights are 5 private suites, a theater room, loft space, and great vaulted areas.

"Shania is driven" might be an understatement. Aside from designing for her company, Northern Haus (https://northern-haus.com/), she has a full schedule.

Never a dull moment and she somehow manages to knock out excellent projects. Here's an example of a remodel/addition that she did. It starts with the current home and follows with the proposed plan. She sees challenges and tackles them!

🌟Alumni Spotlight: Stephanie Amundson, 🎓2020 Graduate 🌟

Check out this couple's lake home. With kids leaving the nest, they're looking to make lake life permanent. This 1,600 SF home is going up as we speak. It has a vaulted great room with lots of windows overlooking the lake, a walkout basement, and plenty of space for the kids and guests. Wow!
