We’re getting ready for WISEFest 2026, and we need your help filling those trunks with treats!

W.I.S.E. Partnership is now accepting donations of individually wrapped Halloween candy to help us welcome hundreds of children and families to our annual WISEFest Trunk or Treat.

Our first candy drop-off will take place during Music on the Blvd on Saturday, September 12, from 4–7 PM at 2700 W. Chicago Blvd., Detroit.

Bring a bag, bring a box, or bring a few! Every donation helps us create a fun and generous Halloween experience for our community.

Additional scheduled candy drop-off dates will be announced soon.

Summer's winding down, but we're not slowing down! We celebrate our 5th year of service to the Detroit community this September, and we're packing the month with fun!! Detroit Month of Design will bring excitement to the WISE Central Hub at 2700 W. Chicago with art curated by our Community Arts Team, led by our Community Arts Director, Taylor Childs!

Spiral Initiative led by team member Kenndall Wallace brings Free Open Mic to 2700 W. Chicago. The Love Building brings art to life in The Container. Taylor Childs hosts a full day of fashion and art with Born in Sepia. And the month closes out with a film festival.

Don't worry, we haven't forgotten the music! House and Jazz are back this year! W.I.S.E. Partnership presents Music on the Blvd in partnership with Whitlow's Barber Lounge. Bring your chairs, pack your treats, and enjoy 5 hours of music, from house to jazz, at 2700 on September 12. DJ LaVance Sykes, Live music from Marvin Thompson and Marsha & Mike Evans with art by the Mint Artists Guild.

We close out the year with WISEFest, our own Trunk or Treat, where 600+ kids from our community flood 2700 ready to load up on candy and books.

Then that's it. Our regular programming wraps until 2027!
