We are seeking old unused bowling balls to be gifted for a mosaic art project this summer. And we're also looking for some donated table easels AND clean rags to support a record number of youth artists working with us this summer. Please drop these off to the Mint Studios in Palmer Park on Monday afternoons before July 13 or message us to set up a time to donate these.

Today is the first official start of Echoes in Harmony!🎶

To those who attended the workshops — Thank you! We hope you will join us for the actual program starting today, June 15, 2026, from 3 to 5pm at Joseph Walker Williams Rec Center, located at 8431 Rosa Parks Blvd, Detroit, MI 48206.

Detroit's west side has a new grocery option. Micah's Market opened Thursday on Fenkell Avenue near Prevost Street, bringing fresh meats, dairy, and produce at affordable prices to the Crary/St. Mary's neighborhood.
