12th Congressional District Democratic Convention – March 28, 2026

Fellow Democrats, mark your calendars! The 12th Congressional District Convention will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 as we prepare for the Michigan Democratic Party Endorsement Convention on April 19 at Huntington Place in Detroit.

🕘 Meeting Begins: 9:00 AM

🔹 Wayne County Portion
📍 UAW Local 600

🕙 Registration: 10:00 AM
🕚 Meeting Begins: 11:00 AM

At the convention we will:
✅ Elect members and alternates to serve on State Convention committees
✅ Consider resolutions to forward to the Michigan Democratic Party

Important: To vote, Democrats must generally be members of the Michigan Democratic Party at least 30 days prior to the convention (by February 26, 2026) unless they are precinct delegates, elected officials, or nominees.

Meet the 12th Congressional District Democrats Unity Slate for election at the Michigan Democratic Party State Convention! Endorsed by AFL-CIO and UAW Region 1A, our team is ready to work hard to strengthen our district and lead us toward a brighter future.

This is a team of proven, experienced leaders for the district who show up and do the work. Together, we are committed to building a unified and dynamic party that will engage all communities and amplify our voices in Southeast Michigan. If you’re a precinct delegate, current member of the Democratic Party, or elected official who lives in the 12th Congressional District please come and vote for us February 22, 2025 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance
Center. Registration begins at 9:00 AM.
