I am continuing to reach out to my "adopted" Jamaican family and friends. We have begun our fund raising efforts to provide immediate support in the areas of food, water and toiletries for the Treasure Beach, Jamaica community. We hope to expand the effort in the coming weeks to also include "Residential Repair Materials Micro Grants."
As a part-time resident of Treasure Beach, my home was not damaged, but my neighbors and surrounding community were not as fortunate.
