Tree Trimming in town: The crews that are in town are contracted by Texas New Mexico, if there are issue please call TNMP 888-864-7456.
🌳Left over limbs/cuts - resident has opportunity to keep, give away, etc. OR there will be crews coming through later to pickup and haul away.
🌳There is a truck in the alley on Brunswick that is non-operable, they are working on the repair.

Water/sewer/trash bills went out today.

1) this is a new billing software
2) yes, they look different but hopefully will be back to postcards next month
3) usage was estimated due to the excessive rainfall - all residential customers were billed the minimum 2,000 gallons.
- commercial customers were estimated based on past usage
4) we are hoping to have all the auto debit info manually entered by the 15th
5) if you want to pay online there is a link on the website detroittx.gov and there is a PIN on your bill that will be required.
6) if you have questions or find a mistake, please call us - there are just over 300 accounts and we could have certainly missed something!

Public Utilities Operator for the City of Detroit: duties will include but are not limited to:
Reading water meters, repairing/replacing water lines, routine water sampling, sewer line repair/replacement, sewer system maintenance, upkeep of City grounds, repair of City streets, operating machinery
Experience in water/sewer preferred
Licenses Preferred: Class C water distribution and Class C wastewater operations
License Required: driver's license
