Congratulations to our graduating seniors!

Project YOUR was proud to recognize our graduating seniors by presenting them with graduation cords in honor of their hard work, leadership, and commitment to community impact.

These cords represent more than graduation — they represent dedication, growth, peer leadership, and the important role our youth have played in overdose prevention education, HIV/PrEP awareness, and outreach in our community.

We are so proud of each of them and excited to see all the amazing things they will do next. Keep leading, keep learning, and keep making a difference!

Congratulations, graduates!

This evening was incredible! We love our work and the community we serve. It’s a pleasure to be of service.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to recognize the importance of emotional wellness, reduce stigma, and remind our community that mental health is health.

At Community Health Awareness Group (CHAG), we understand that mental wellness is connected to every part of a person’s life, including physical health, housing, safety, substance use prevention, HIV/STI prevention, and access to supportive care. No one should have to struggle in silence.

This month, we encourage everyone to check in on themselves, reach out to loved ones, and seek support when needed. Whether you are dealing with stress, grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, or simply feeling overwhelmed, help is available and healing is possible.

CHAG remains committed to providing compassionate, community-centered education, prevention services, referrals, and support that meet people where they are.

You are not alone. Your mental health matters. Your healing matters.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the completion of our 2nd Co- Hort of Project YOUR (Youth Understanding Overdose Risks) 6-week training!

Over the past six weeks, our youth participants showed up with curiosity, courage, and commitment, gaining critical knowledge and real-life skills to help protect themselves and their communities.

Throughout the training, participants were equipped with education on: 1. Overdose recognition, response, and prevention 2. Harm-reduction strategies, including naloxone awareness 3. HIV 101 and PrEP education 4. Peer support, leadership, and advocacy skills

These young leaders are now prepared to share what they’ve learned, reduce stigma, and be powerful voices for health, safety, and compassion among their peers.

Thank you to our youth, facilitators, and community partners for making this cohort such a success. This is how we build safer, healthier futures together.
