We are grateful to Almighty God for the life of our dear Brother Joshua Porter. Josh was such a big part of our New Covenant of Peace Family. He was one of the best drummers on the planet and so faithful. While we are saddened that he left so soon, we can rejoice because we know where he went. On Wednesday, August 18, MSHDA (Michigan State Housing Development Authority), DTE Energy and Detroit Public TV are presenting a live, free virtual discussion to share critical information about programs to assist people who have fallen behind on their rent, mortgage or energy payments.

We’ll be using the funds we received to provide help to people who are gig workers, don't have proof of income, or get paid under the table, with a small grant. We have a limited amount of grants to give. Click this link to apply.

DCS has been awarded a Min-Grant from Co_Act Detroit to help our neighbors. These funds are designed to help people who have not been able to find help from other programs. No proof of need, income, or employment is necessary.
