Thank you to everyone who joined ECN’s Juneteenth: Divining Freedom Celebration. Together, we honored the history, resilience, and spirit of our community 🕊️

A special thank you to Willie Mae Gaskins for over 60 years of dedication as an Eastside mother and community leader. Also thank you to the Gaskin Family for celebrating this special moment with the people she helped achieve so much 💚💙🤍.

Her service, care, and commitment have touched countless lives and helped strengthen generations of Eastside families.

Follow their step-by-step guide from our environmental health & Wellness team to prepare for the heat and to keep your family, home, and loved ones safe going into the humid season. This lists best practices for all things such as heat exhaustion, prolonged sun exposure, and flood risks.
