Renowned Saxophonist Montee Jefferson is featured at a Benefit Concert for the Homeless.
ON Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. a benefit concert to help the homeless in Detroit will take place at Unity Baptist Church at 7500 Tireman in Detroit This concert will feature the renowned saxophonist Mr. Montee Jefferson, along with various church choirs and artists.
Montee Jefferson has performed with a variety of local and national musical acts including B.B. King, the Drifters, the Platters, the Contours, Mary Wells, and other Motown acts. He has opened for legendary greats such as the Spinners, Ray Charles, Bobby Bland, and others too numerous to mention. His greatest musical influence is attributed to the late King Curtis.
