TONIGHT's PUBLIC HEARING HAS BEEN CANCELED: Due to poor air quality, the City Council Public Hearing on the proposed amendments to the Bridging Neighborhoods resolution scheduled for today, July 16th at Patton Recreation Center has been canceled. An announcement will be made once a new hearing date has been scheduled.

The first of two Detroit City Council public hearings regarding amendments to the 2017 Bridging Neighborhoods resolution will be held Monday, July 13, 2026 at 6pm at the Detroit Police Department - 4th Precinct (Community Room) 4700 W Fort St., Detroit, MI 48209. Attendees can attend in person or online. See below for meeting notice. (Text of the notice is in the comments.)

There will be a 2nd meeting on July 16, 2026 at 6pm at Patton Recreation Center at 2301 Woodmere.

Amendments to expand services (e.g., home repair, air pollution mitigation, home swap) to eligible residents within the impact area will be reviewed. Attendees will have an opportunity to comment on the proposed changes.
