Plainview Block Club Association is a Northwest Detroit community organization located in District-1 that strives to enhance relationships between neighbors AND community organizations. PBA is resident-driven community organization that addresses neighborhood issues and concerns by assisting neighbors work together and work with police and other community organizatons to ensure safety and security for each person in our community.

Sunday, July 12, 2026 from 10a-6p, Detroit Kite Festival returns to Cricket Field for the 8th year.

The team is back and assisting with production!!

We’ll feature some festival favorites like the Wind Jammers, is returning to fly bubbles like kites, and we’ll also have some new features as well. We can’t tell you all the good stuff yet. Stay tuned for more.
