In response to the SNAP funding crisis, MFFM will continue providing Maine Harvest Bucks at farmers' markets regardless of whether your card has remaining funds.

When you show your EBT card at the Info Booth of any participating farmers' market, you'll receive $15 in Maine Harvest Bucks to spend on fresh produce. You can do this every time you visit the market in the month of November.

Maine Harvest Bucks is our statewide food access program that makes shopping at the farmers' market more affordable, and pays farmers the full retail value for their work.

Normally, when you spend SNAP/EBT at the farmers' market, you earn matching bonus Maine Harvest Bucks. SNAP shoppers are an essential part of the farmers' market community and we will do all we can to support you.

If you still have funds on your EBT card, you can continue spending them, and the regular Maine Harvest Bucks match is still in effect.

Reminder absentee ballots for Nov. 4th are still available at the Town Office until Oct. 30. After that you will have to apply for a special circumstances ballot.

Fall Cleanup will be on October 11 & 12 from 9am to 5pm. Reminder that the Hazardous waste disposal day is on October 4 at Pittsfield Transfer Station from 9am to 11:30am. You must sign up at the Detroit Town Office prior to the event.

MSAD #53 NEW SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION PROJET will hold a School Site Selection Straw Poll Vote Monday September 8, 2025, at 5:30pm at Warsaw Middle School Gym. We encourage all registered voters to attend this meeting. The Town Office will be closing at 4:30 to attend this meeting and vote.
