First of May Anarchist Alliance

First of May Anarchist Alliance We do not see our selves as a regional organization. We instead seek broad trans-national alliances. M1′s affinity is built around four principles. For Anarchy!

First of May Anarchist Alliance (M1)

We are a new organization with its members having a much longer history of collaboration, in some instances reaching back to the 1980’s through an array of revolutionary anarchist organizing. With the creation of M1 we move from the informal affinity to being an established organizational presence; fully engaged with the broader anarchist, revolutionary and so

cial movements. As individuals and as members of M1, we are active in our communities and workplaces, within the labor unions, and through formations such as the Industrial Workers of the World and Solidarity & Defense. Nor do we see ourselves as a necessarily “permanent” grouping. We aim for a fluid organization capable of responding to given circumstances while maintaining a committed membership based on core anarchist and revolutionary perspectives. Given needs and demands of the movement, we will reconceptualize and remake our organization(s). In short, there is nothing static in the realm of struggle; we are open to the possibilities that all we create today will have to be transformed tomorrow. These are:

1) a commitment to revolution;

2) a working class orientation;

3) a non-doctrinaire anarchism and;

4) a non-sectarian and multi-layered approach to organization. The M1 colors represent our commitment to anarchism, the revolutionary social struggle, and an ecological perspective – black, red and green. For Dignity, Justice and Freedom – Against Capitalism and the State!

SENTENCED AS TERRORISTS FOR DESTROYING ISRAELI DRONES: Yesterday, Leona Kamio, Charlotte Head, Samuel Corner and Fatema Rajwani were branded with a ‘terrorism connection’ in addition to their convictions for criminal damage. The four took action against an Elbit Systems factory in Britain and destroyed Israeli drones used in Gaza.

The terrorism enhancement will follow these courageous and principled young organizers for the rest of their lives. The designation is yet another example of collective punishment dealt down to those who dare threaten the flow of arms to Israel and stop the genocide from continuing.

Demand justice for our political prisoners! Full arms embargo now!

Workers voting today on whether to ratify.

For years pay at American Axle topped out at $22 an hour. Now $22 becomes a new hire’s starting pay, and all workers will make $30 an hour by 2030 under the tentative agreement workers secured after 10 days on strike.

Workers also won more paid days off and beat back health care concessions. “At first, I didn’t want my daughter working here,“ said Mark Hicks, 67, “but now I’m going to tell her to take a look at it.”

Chile students protest education cuts and policed schools - News, Jun 5th- Far-right Kast government is tightening repression of students while eliminating support funds ~ La Zarzamora ~

On June 3rd, massive student marches took place in various regions of the territory occupied by Chile, in response to the government’s latest anti-educational measures. In Santiago, the repressive forces acted with their usual cowardice, suppressing the crowd and leaving a law student from the University of Chile with multiple facial fractures, requiring surgery.

The measures include, on the one hand, the mega-reform project, currently being debated in the Senate, which entails a series of budget cuts. These affect the School Feeding Program (PAE), the Public Education Support Fund, the Higher Education Access Support Program, and other scholarships and benefits. On the other hand there is the regimentation of educational establishments, with a tightening of “Protected School” (formerly “Safe Classroom”) legislation.

“Organised students rise against the anti-people government and market education”
The Protected School initiative, already passed by Congress, entails a series of measures that profoundly violate the school community, with an anti-pedagogical focus on criminalising children and adolescents. These measures include violations such as searches and inspections of backpacks; disciplinary measures that prohibit the use of face coverings; the elimination of free tuition for five years for students convicted of crimes involving physical assault, use of weapons, or serious damage to school infrastructure; and direct sanctions for those who lead or participate in the total or partial disruption of classes.

The reform also aims to eliminate the few existing safeguards protecting ancestral lands from state and private usurpation. In the regions, specifically in Concepción, the demonstration was widely attended by students from primary, secondary, and university levels, as well as by students from various Mapuche student residences, who also demonstrated for the freedom of political prisoners and against the reform to the Indigenous Law announced by Kast in his State of the Nation address.

It is important to note that police intervention in schools has been taking place in Chile for decades, ever since the Safe Classroom Law (Law 21.128) was enacted in 2018 during the Piñera administration. School “security” protocols include the entry of repressive forces into school buildings and the detention of students. These actions, disguised as “security protocols,” are carried out with the complicity of school management teams, including teachers, academic staff, administrators, and others.

These measures, presented to the public as the solution to a security problem, have as one of their main objectives the suppression of student organisation and protest, criminalising students and facilitating their legal prosecution, with the complicity of the educational establishment.

Expropriate the Ambassador Bridge. Take it out of a private family's hands. Expropriate the Maroun family's wealth, all of it stolen from people forced to pay the family tolls to use an international bridge. To hell with Trump and his big donor, the Maroun family, all enemies of the working class. They are all ripoff artists and thieves. And, of course, open the new bridge.

"Belfast should therefore not be understood simply as a breakdown of the UK's political order. In important respects, it was an expression of it."

For years, politicians and media have encouraged people to view migrants as invaders, and Muslims as a problem to be managed
