😎 Who did our team spot at the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel this week?

The one and only Ed Sheeran! 🎶🎸

Ahead of his big Ford Field show, Ed made his way through the Tunnel! It all happened so fast that our team didn’t even have a chance to capture a photo, but we couldn’t let the moment pass without giving him a shout-out!

We also loved seeing our partner, Windsor-Detroit Tunnel, across the border, getting in on the excitement and welcoming Ed to Windsor with a free toll.

In 2011, the Tunnel upgraded to a modern LED lighting system specifically engineered for the tunnel environment.

Unlike many lighting systems designed primarily for nighttime use, ours works around the clock, helping provide consistent visibility and safety for drivers traveling between and every day.

The upgrade required extensive research and engineering, led by our very own SVP of Operations and Engineering, Trevor Pearce.

Just one of the many systems working behind the scenes to help keep your journey through the Tunnel safe and bright!
