Good afternoon. Somerville has issued a heat advisory for tomorrow. It will be unhealthy to be out for older folks and those with breathing problems.

The Blessing of the Bay will NOT be happening tomorrow because of this.

Anna is thinking a new tentative date would be July 27th. A time has not been set yet.

Would you be able to be in Somerville that day? More than likely it will be 11-1 or 1-3.

Anyone planning on attending the UNACC meeting tomorrow, it is canceled. We are having some heat issues. A week from Sunday is our next social/gathering. The building will be toasty for that!

News from the Center:
We are currently moving some of the rooms around. Where the current office is that will be converted into the library.

Where the library currently is, that will converted to our Onkwe Tase room. This room will house many of the artifacts which Onkwe has passed on to us along with much of the news media about Onkwe.

Today, UNACC will be having a Native American presentation at the RiverCourt Residences from 1:30-3:00. We’ll have Nugumij Drum, some of the Morningstar Singers and a few displays. I’m sure we’ll have a fun afternoon. It’s an early kick off to Native American month. 😊❤️😊. Have a great day.
