One of the biggest misconceptions that Marines tend to have, is that if you are receiving VA disability that you are no longer eligible to continue your service. That is not true. Even if you are receiving VA disability, you can still be eligible to join the reserves and continue your service. (Prior ACTIVE Marines thrive in the reserves. Don't be afraid it's 39 days a year and non obligated. Try it before you count yourself out)
"I don't want to give up my benefits"
(we dont touch your GI BILL and You will only lose a small portion of your VA disability...example if you get 1000 per month you will pay back 33 per day of RESERVE duty)
