ATTENTION TO ALL CUSTOMERS ON Magnolia Road and all intersecting roads off of Magnolia.

On Monday June 1, 2026, between the hours of 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM, Buckeye Water District plans to do a main line shut down on Magnolia Road and all intersecting roads off of Magnolia.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience this may cause but we will do our best to work quickly and efficiently. We cannot give exact hours due to uncertainty of what time we will be able to get to the work area, but what we do ask is that you please be prepared. When the water is returned to full service, Buckeye Water District will issue a BOIL ADVISORY for the area affected due to state and federal laws and regulations.

Due to having to repair a main line leak on Hwy 1206 on Saturday, April 25, 2026, the water had to be turned off on a portion of Hwy 1206 and Hwy 1207 and side roads to make the repair.
Buckeye Water District has put this area under a BOIL ADVISORY until further notice.

From the intersection of Hwy 115 and St. Clair Ryder Road, go east on St. Clair Ryder Road to the intersection of Hwy 1206 and St. Clair Ryder Road. Go east on Hwy 1206 to the intersection of Hwy 1206 and Gerald Belgard Road. ALL side roads in this area. Also, at the intersection of Hwy 1206 and Hwy 1207, go west on Hwy 1207 to the intersection of Hwy 1207 and Deville Cutoff Road. ALL side roads in this area. DOES NOT INCLUDE Deville Cutoff Road.

It is recommended that all consumers disinfect their water before consuming it (including fountain drinks), making ice, brushing teeth or using it for food preparation or rinsing of foods by the following means:
Boil water for one (1) full minute in a clean container. The one minute starts after the water has been brought to a rolling boil. (The flat taste can be eliminated by shaking the water in a clean bottle, pouring it from one clean container to another, or by adding a small pinch of salt to each quart of water that is boiled.)
Again, please be sure to disinfect your own water prior to consumption until you have been advised otherwise.
Buckeye Water District No. 50, Inc. will rescind this BOIL ADVISORY upon notification from the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals – Office of Public Health that water samples collected from our water supply have shown our water to be safe.

Election is Coming Up……. March 10, 2026
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to Buckeye Water District’s annual Board meeting to be held on March 10, 2026 at 6:30 pm at the Buckeye Water District office for the purpose of considering and voting upon the following matters:
1. Election of two (2) directors for the three (3) year terms to fill the expiring terms of the two directors in 2026.
2. Whatever other business that may be brought before the meeting of any adjournment thereof.
The election of Board of Director Members for Buckeye Water District is a corporate election governed by corporate laws of the State of Louisiana. This is not a public election! Only the persons who have been certified as having active meters with Buckeye Water District as of January 27, 2026 are eligible to vote. The account holders are eligible to cast one vote for each active meter.
If a Member attends the meeting at which an election is held, then he/she can cast their own vote as they see fit. If you cannot attend the meeting, you can still vote, by Proxy. Proxies were mailed out to each member. If you did not get yours or misplaced it, call us and we can get another one printed for you. Call 318-466-5746.
Please note if we do not receive a 10% return of membership votes, then a second request will be necessary at the expense of your water system. Cost to send these out is close to $6,000.00
