🌞Summer Reading has begun! 🎉

Here is a schedule of events at the library in June and July so far. Keep an eye on our page for any changes or updates. If you are registered for the SRP, weekly(ish) emails will also be sent out with important updates.

Events are open to EVERYONE. Even if you do not have a library card. Even if you are not signed up for SRP. Even if you are not from Devils Lake. EVERYONE. Got it? Cool 😎

Supplies are provided, just bring your own book to decorate!

This program is for EVERYONE ages 9 and up. It is a drop-in so come by the Community Room any time after 1 pm!

We are thrilled to continue Yoga at the Library with Joanna Marcela Berger this summer!

Join us every Wednesday at 6:30 PM near the CMS basketball court for an hour of movement, mindfulness, and fresh air.

This class is open to all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a longtime yogi or trying yoga for the very first time, Joanna creates a welcoming and relaxing experience for everyone.

Equipment will be provided, or bring your own mat!

It's almost Messtival time! 🌞

Join us on Saturday from noon to 3 pm on the CMS basketball court to celebrate the beginning of summer! THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO EVERYONE!

We will be tie dying, playing in the water, and more! In Your Face is back and will be painting faces from noon until 2 pm, and MaryAnn's Place will have the Dippin' Dots truck parked here. 🍨

Come get messy with us as we kick of the summer! 😎

Summer at Lake Region Public Library is free for EVERYONE 🌞😎📚

Sign up for non-resident and family non-resident cards this summer free of charge! 🎉

Once September first hits, these cards will become inactive until the non-resident fee is paid. $20 for the year for a single patron, $30 for a family.

It is our hope that this opportunity encourages families from across the Lake Region to participate in our Summer Reading Program and unearth what LRPL has to offer.

Having a library card allows you to check out books, DVDs, audiobooks, and Library of Things items like Dockside passes and State Park passes. A library card also gives you access to LRPL's public computers, as well as the opportunity to use the Libby app on your phone or device.

📢📢But even if you do not have a library card, remember:

✨Access to books, games, craft supplies, puzzles, and toys is available to everyone
✨You are free to read any library book within the building
✨We print one free guest pass per adult per day
✨All programs and library events are free and open to the public (whether you live in Devils Lake or not)
