💰$18 Million in Taxpayer Dollars to Silence Victims — Why Congress Must Change” ⚖️
As an Army Chaplain, I’ve sat with both victims and perpetrators of sexual harassment and assault. 🙏
I’ve listened to their pain, shame, broken trust, and the long journey toward healing. These are not abstract issues — they impact real people every single day.
❤️ I have learned that we must listen to victims and protect them when they come forward.
That’s why I support real transparency and accountability on Capitol Hill.
Congresswoman Nancy Mace introduced H.Res. 1100 to require the House Ethics Committee to publicly release records on sexual harassment and assault investigations — with strong victim protections, similar to the Epstein files. A small number of representatives from both parties backed it.
Yet U.S. Representative Chrissy Houlahan voted against it.
Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna has also sounded the alarm: Congress has quietly spent around $18 million in taxpayer dollars over the years on secret settlements for workplace complaints, including sexual harassment — often shielding members who remain in office. See all the details here:

This isn’t about parties. It’s about integrity. If we want to end sexual harassment and abuse in our schools, workplaces, military, and places of worship, we must first clean house in Congress.
🏛️ No one should be above accountability.
This is why I am running for Congress. We need to fix what is broken — starting with Congress itself. 🔨
Victims deserve truth and justice. Perpetrators deserve accountability. Healing begins with honesty and courage.
Let’s demand better from those who represent us. ✨
