SCOTUS: USPS INJUNCTION BACK ON

🗳 MIDTERM INFO: CONFIRMING YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION

Hi friends!
We've learned that a well-funded extremist PAC is trying to lure voters into "checking their registration" via an unsecure website that collects your full name, home address, date of birth, email address, cell phone number, IP address, location data, and voting status. Yikes, please don't do that!

You can check your voter registration at the REAL PA Voter Database, run by PA Department of State: https://www.pavoterservices.pa.gov/pages/voterregistrationstatus.aspx

This official state website does require a fair bit of of personal to be sure that they're confirming the right voter info to the right person, but as an official government entity, they (properly, necessarily) have your info already. The spurious website doesn't -- unless you click and give it to them (knowingly or otherwise).

As part of PA Government, the PA Dept of State website has an explicit privacy policy and security policy -- you can check them!
