The Vidor middle school has been evacuated to the High School due to a possible gas leak. [VISD] Vidor Middle School students are being evacuated to Vidor High School. Parents can check students out at the Vidor High School gym, using the gym parking lot gate for entry. Please bring proper identification for student release. Thank you for your cooperation as we prioritize student safety.

[VISD] Due to ongoing rainfall and street flooding, all Vidor ISD schools will be closed today. Classes will resume on Monday as scheduled. Stay safe, everyone!

[VISD] Due to high water levels and travel safety concerns, Vidor ISD will delay school start by 2 hours on Friday, May 3rd. This ensures better visibility. VISD will monitor the weather and will update the community promptly, if needed. Stay safe, stay informed.

[VISD] School will be delayed by 2 hours tomorrow due to severe weather.
Elementary campuses will start at 9:30.
Secondary campuses will start at 10:15.
Buses will run 2 hours later than normal.

What have I done for the Orange County Constables Office since being elected

I’m the only active Constsble in the history of Orange County to enroll the office and participate with Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers.

I started the Christmas with the Constable in PCT 4 , all toys and donations benefit the Orange County Children thru the Orange Salvation Army. This program has grown every single year.

I also started a back to school backpack / school supplies drive benefitting our youth right here in Vidor. The only constable in history to establish this program.

I have been involved with our local Criminal Justice program at Vidor High School , training the students in cell extraction , assisting them leading them to winning 🥇 State Championship.

I have worked active patrol, made warrant arrest , participated in drug operations leading to the arrest of some of the largest drug dealers in Orange County. I have worked theft cases, recovered stolen vehicles and other duties associated with the job.

My community involvement :

Orange County Special Angels Rodeo , Stable Spirits organization, Beaumont Chamber of Commerce Young Professional Organization. When hurricane laura hit, I was the only elected official to hold and host a POD and distribute ICE for our citizens in Vidor, during a crisis.

My Certifications thru Texas Comission on Law Enforcement (State agency):

Advanced Peace Officer
Court Security Certification
Court Security Specialist
Sexual Assault/ Family Violence Investigator
Basic TCOLE instructor
16 years and 3 months of law enforcement experience with 2175 TCOLE training hours.

My Endorsements :

Sabine Area Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO
Karen Gary Fisher (County Tax accessor)

Freezing temperatures Monday night into Tuesday (15 hours) from approximately 10PM – Noon.

Freezing temperatures Tuesday night into Wednesday (18 hours) from approximately 5PM – 11AM.


Showers and isolated thunderstorms are clearing the area from west to east this morning, with the threat of severe weather coming to an end. Skies will be quick to clear by the early afternoon hours at the latest. With that soon to be in the rearview mirror, the focus now shifts to the cold temperatures we will experience next week post this weekend's cold front. Both Monday and Tuesday evenings, we could see temperatures drop to and below freezing for several hours. Parts of central Louisiana could see subfreezing temperatures last over 24 hours.
