People In Action

People In Action PIA is a community enrichment program for residents challenged by socio-economic diversity where differences are embraced and judgment is withheld.

People In Action offers a low cost after school program for the residents in the Springfield Garden Apartment Complex through the Town of DeWitt Recreation Department. Academic support and enrichment are made affordable through partnerships, collaborations and donations. All PIA programs are run out of the David G. Klim Learning and Recreation Center conveniently located within the Springfield Gar

den Apartment Complex. PIA operates under the 501 (c) 3, Non-profit Organization "The Friends of DeWitt Parks and Recreation." PIA is overseen and managed by the Town of DeWitt Recreation Department. We offer low cost programming for families that live in the immediate area of Springfield Garden. However, we do not exclude anybody that is a Town of DeWitt resident. Those individuals residing outside the Town of DeWitt or Jamesville-DeWitt School District will be considered on an individual basis. See our website for more information.
