Don't forget, the Michigan Democratic Party 2026 State Nominating Convention will take place tomorrow in Lansing! Credentialing opens up at 7am and closes at 2pm.

As long as you were an MDP member by July 30, you are eligible to be credentialed. More information about the convention can be found on MDP's website here: https://michigandems.com/convention/.

Coffee & Conversation is back! Join us Monday, September 14, at 2:00 p.m. at the CCDP office in St. Johns. Bring your favorite coffee or tea, and we will provide the treats. We will also have Michigan addresses and postcards from Postcards to Swing States if you'd like to flex your writing muscles. We can't wait to see you!

Tickets are still on sale for CCDP's 4th Annual Fall Harvest Festival Fundraiser! Join us on Saturday, September 12, from 11am-2pm at the Phillips Orchards & Cider Mill's Orchard Market located at 1174 West Gratiot County Line Road, St. Johns.

This event is a great opportunity to come together as Democrats, hear from political candidates and elected officials, enjoy some delicious sweet treats and cider, and pick apples in the orchard.

We had a great turnout for the DeWitt Ox Roast Parade this morning. DeWitt, you showed UP! We gave away nearly 100 of our trademark “Defend Democracy” signs. It was great to see so much energy along the parade route.

Thank you to Team Abdul El-Sayed for joining us and passing out your stickers along the route—people loved them! We were also joined by DeWitt Township Supervisor Democratic Candidate Josh Taft—thanks for coming, Josh!
