Coming Soon to Keller Public Library for our summer readers! This was a huge hit last summer with our student readers, and we are thrilled that our local McDonald's is offering it again. We will begin punching cards for books read on JUNE 8th.

This post is all about our wonderful Story Hour volunteer! She is not on FB, but she has been coming the last two school years every Tuesday morning to help. She will be wrapping up her TRC era next fall, and has a class on Tuesday, so I wanted to give her a great big SHOUT out now to thank her for all of her help.

No matter if she showed up as Emma, the Easter bunny, or Rocky Raider, she was always willing to do anything I needed her to do. She is the best people counter, clean up committee member, and preschool learner assistant!

Thank you so much for all of your help over the last two years!

We had a great Story Hour morning! The new space was SO much better! Charley and Mrs. Sara did a great job reading to us. Charley, and some others, will be moving on to kindergarten or preschool next year. We will miss them, but we know they are ready for bigger and better things!

Come see us this week! All Dexter students can sign up for a free library card if they don't already have one. Get your child set up now, and they will be ready for all of our Summer Reading fun coming soon!

For other patrons (adults or students) outside of the city limits, the fee is only $10 a year! This gives you access to Libby as well. Libby is loaded with eBooks and audiobooks for all ages as well as magazines.

The construction is finished! We are cleaning and resetting as quickly as we can.

We will have ONE LAST Story Hour at 10:15 on Tuesday, May 12th. Please spread the word to our friends that may not have Facebook!
