🎡❤️ Making the Fair Accessible for Everyone

The fair is a place for everyone to make memories, have fun, and feel included. For individuals with developmental disabilities, enjoying the rides can sometimes require a little extra assistance.

We were there to lend a helping hand assisting individuals safely on and off the fair rides and making sure they had the opportunity to enjoy the fair alongside their friends.

Sometimes, making a difference doesn’t require an emergency response. Sometimes, it simply means taking a few extra minutes, offering a helping hand, and making sure everyone gets to be part of the fun.

That’s what community is all about. 💙🎡

Teamwork saves lives. 🚑🚓 🚒

That belief has been the driving force behind the new Public Safety Building at the Stoddard County Fairgrounds.

This project has been a true labor of love and several years in the making. With the support and approval of the Fair Board and partnership of fellow public safety departments, the vision has come to life.

The goal is simple: provide a central location for public safety personnel to better serve fairgoers.

The building includes a dedicated patient care room for first-aid needs, along with direct communication lines to SCAD Dispatch, Dexter Police Department, and the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department.

While it will serve as a public safety hub during the fair, the building will also be available throughout the year as needed.

We are proud to see this vision become a reality and grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.
