Thank you, East Laurens Elementary, for the love and support you have shown our beloved Erin Howard 💙

We already had a Hat Day planned for today, but this week we learned that WLHS lost a beloved staff member after her courageous battle with cancer.

When we heard that their school was holding a Hat Day today to help support her children and family, we knew we wanted to join them. All money collected from our Hat Day will be donated to her family.

Mrs. Wilcher has been teaching for 22 years in Raider Nation, and if you have been blessed to have her as a teacher, you know just how special she is!

Congratulations, Mrs. Wilcher! Raider Nation is so thankful for the love and dedication you pour into our students every day. This honor is so well deserved! 💙

🎩 HAT DAY — TOMORROW 🎩
Tomorrow, our Raider family will come together to honor the beautiful life and memory of Mrs. Erin Howard, a beloved member of our lunchroom crew and an incredibly special part of our school family.
Throughout her courageous fight against cancer, Mrs. Howard continued to greet students and staff with a smile, a kind heart, and an encouraging word. Her strength, positivity, and love touched so many lives, and we are grateful for the time we were blessed to share with her.

💙 In her honor, we will have a Hat Day tomorrow! 💙

Students and staff are encouraged to wear a hat for a $2 donation. All donations will go directly to Mrs. Howard’s sweet baby girls and loving husband as we surround her family with the love and support of our Raider community.

Let’s fill our school with hats, love, and memories as we celebrate a woman who brought so much light to those around her.
