Southern California Edison plans to conduct aerial inspections of electrical equipment in southern Diamond Bar neighborhoods over the next few weeks as part of its wildfire prevention and mitigation program.

Residents may hear and see drones or helicopters during aerial inspections taking place between August 10 and September 4.

These inspections help reduce wildfire risk and ensure that SCE equipment on poles and towers operates safely. Inspection times may vary, but typically last 30 to 60 minutes.

For questions or concerns, reach out to SCE at 800-655-4555 or learn more at sce.com/wildfire

Work includes upgrading curb ramps to current ADA standards and installing detectable warning surfaces to better assist pedestrians with visual impairments.

Construction is expected to be completed in early September 2026.

Traffic control measures and safety signage will be in place throughout the project.
