🚫ABSOLUTELY NO OUTDOOR BURNING OF ANY KIND!

The Diamond City Volunteer Fire Department is having a Sealed Auction for a 8x10 utility trailer with 4500 Ib axle. Does Have a Title, has working lights and Comes with spare tongue jack. Trailer will be as is when picked up. Highest bidder must have payment ready when notified for pick up.
Pick up will be at the Diamond City Fire Station. Bids must include,Bid amount and contact information. All Bids must be sealed, dated and mailed by May 21,2026. Winner will be notified May 28,2026. Money from the auction will go to the Diamond City Volunteer Fire Dept.

With profound respect and heartfelt condolences,we honor the Erspamer Family during this difficult time and share the passing of one of our very longtime volunteers Walter (Wally) Erspamer.
Wally embarked on his remarkable journey with the Diamond City Fire Department on August 10, 1992. Over 34 years, he selflessly served in various pivotal roles, including Chief, Captain, Board member, Secretary/Treasurer, and later Assistant Chief, inspiring us all with his unwavering dedication. We know his legacy will continue to ignite our passion for the fire service and will be greatly missed by many.

A link to share condolences, flowers/gifts or light a candle in his honor will be provided below. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date, pending family approval.

Walter Lee Erspamer, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on May 6, 1940, in Tacoma, Washington, Walter was a proud veteran who served in the Navy. He later pursued a distinguished career as an engineer in the power plant industry,...

The Diamond City Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary would like to take a moment and thank everyone who came out to the Annual DC/LH community egg hunt this past weekend even in the weather we still had an egg-tastic 😉 time seeing all your smiling faces and look forward to doing it again next year!

Also we would like to thank those who helped make this event possible…..
Jacs Resort and Cafe and Jennifer Glidewell with ReMax for a big portion of candy and grand prize basket donations!
Sheri Marshal with the Diamond City Community Center
Sam Olcott with cooking and supplying hots dogs.
The American Legion Post 340 for collecting some monetary donations for candy.
Katherine Frantz for candy and donation.
The Lead hill and Diamond City Area Chamber for spreading the word.
And we can not leave out the MANY community members for candy donations and putting eggs together as this year we had 3,250 eggs!
As those are just some, whether you helped big or small we Thank you!
We couldn’t do this event without you!
