***The Precautionary Boil Water Notice is Lifted***
**Emergency Water Shutdown on Kalipekona Way 12/18/2025**

Last night the Diamondhead Water & Sewer District conducted an emergency water shutdown after a water main break due to damages by contractors working on storm drain piping on Kalipekona Way.

Water service was restored last night.

Precautionary Boil Water Notices will be issued to those residents who are in the affected area.
During shutdowns water line sediments being disturbed can sometimes cause discoloration in the water. This is not harmful, and the water is safe to drink.

If this occurs in your lines, a simple flush of your faucets for a few minutes should clear up the cloudiness that can sometimes occur.

When the precautionary boil water order has been lifted, those residents will be notified.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this work.
