Today, New Diana ISD celebrates a very special member of our Eagle family as SRO Officer Clay begins his well-deserved retirement! 🦅🎉

Officer Clay’s dedication to our schools, students, and staff is something we will never forget. He wasn’t simply a familiar face walking our halls, checking doors, keeping watch, and helping keep our campuses safe. He became family. ❤️

He was a reassuring presence, a friendly smile, a helping hand, and someone our students and staff knew they could count on. His commitment to protecting our Eagles went far beyond a job description — it was evident in the way he cared for our people and our schools each and every day.

While there is no doubt that a piece of our hearts — and our school — will miss him BIG, we are incredibly grateful for the years of service, countless memories, and lasting impact he leaves behind. 🥹💙

Officer Clay, thank you for protecting our Eagles, loving our schools, and being such an important part of our family. Your footprints will forever be part of the New Diana story.

Today, we have a heartfelt announcement and an opportunity to recognize and celebrate an incredible career of service.

After 38 years in law enforcement, Deputy Clay Robertson has announced his retirement. Deputy Robertson has proudly served as the School Resource Officer at New Diana Elementary since 2013, dedicating the past 13 years to protecting, supporting, and caring for the students and staff of New Diana Elementary.

For countless children, Deputy Robertson has been more than an SRO. He has been a familiar face in the hallways, a protector, a trusted friend, and someone they knew they could count on. His presence has made a lasting difference in the lives of the students and staff he has served.

We are incredibly grateful for Deputy Robertson’s 38 years of dedicated service to law enforcement and his 13 years of faithful service to the New Diana Elementary community. His commitment, kindness, and dedication will not be forgotten.

Please join us in congratulating Deputy Clay Robertson on his retirement and wishing him all the best in this next chapter of life.

📞🎉 THE PHONES ARE BACK! 🎉📞

After what feels like a long-running saga, a test of patience, and approximately 47,000 emails later… our New Diana ISD phone lines are officially back up and working! 🙌😂

We would like to thank everyone for their patience and flexibility while we navigated the great phone line adventure of 2026. Our campus secretaries, staff, and administration have greatly appreciated your understanding as we found creative ways to communicate!

Now, we are cautiously celebrating and enjoying the sweet sound of a phone actually ringing again. 😅☎️

For the moment… all systems are GO! 🤞😂

Thank you again, Eagle Family, for hanging in there with us. Let's all cross our fingers, knock on wood, and maybe avoid saying the words "phone outage" out loud for a while! 😂💙💛🦅

Our halls are once again filled with smiling faces, big dreams, laughter, learning, and EAGLE PRIDE! From the youngest Eagles to our seniors, it has been such a joy to see our students and staff back where they belong. 🥹📚
