Angelina County Burn Ban
Effective Tuesday February 24th Angelina County is under a Burn Ban. The Burn Ban will be in effect for 7 days unless extended by the Angelina County Commissioners Court.

Your Diboll Volunteer Fire Department will be here for you during the upcoming weather event as always.

Make preparations for the weather now.

Use caution with all heat sources and make sure no flammable materials are close.

Check your fire and smoke alarm’s batteries

If you use oxygen make sure you have spare bottles.

Do not drive if you don’t have to. If you find yourself needing help and none is available reach out and we will do what we can to help.

And lastly do not use unapproved gas heaters in your home and definitely do not use generators in your home or any enclosed areas

The annual Christmas party will be at Ralph and Kacoos Friday December 5 at 6pm on the patio. All retirees are welcome. If you would like to attend please let Chief Smith know so we can make sure we have plenty of seating. Thanks see you there.

Diboll VFD will have drive through Trick or Treat on Thursday 10-30-25 from 6-8 at the Main Station on 59. You will be able to drive through from Judd st and exit North onto Business 59. Hope to see you there.

While we were helping with the recovery today , the local VFD had a Structure fire so these 2 borrowed bunker and suited up to help. Luckily the fire didn’t spread and was quickly extinguished as we arrived. It’s just a reminder that these guys are still getting normal calls out here along with all the recovery effort, all of these local VFDs are exhausted. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to do amazing work.
