Mutual Aid has always been great in Angelina County and we appreciate all of your response today.

Our county can be proud of the Manpower and Equipment that all the Departments bring to bear.

Wow what a busy night and day. I want to thank all of the Firefighters who worked so hard starting around midnight last night on a Big Rig trailer fire that lasted till about 530 this morning. And if that weren’t enough this afternoon we had a brushfire that burned around 15 Acres, and caught another call of smoke in an attic while on scene at the brushfire.

All that said everyone went above and beyond the last 24 hrs. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication.

I just wanted to take the time to Thank everyone who helped in any way today looking for Mr Weaver.

Times like these are when agencies and communities come together and pitch in. Thank you to everyone who got the word out, helped search , brought food and water or just gave a hand in any way. There is no way I can remember everyone individually but know that you are appreciated. Thank You Hudson VFD Search and Rescue . Thank You Angelina County Sheriffs Department. Forgive me if I missed anyone. Lastly Thanks to everyone who stopped to Pray for Mr Weaver to be found.

Angelina County Burn Ban
Effective Tuesday February 24th Angelina County is under a Burn Ban. The Burn Ban will be in effect for 7 days unless extended by the Angelina County Commissioners Court.

It is not worth possible loss of life or property and you could be fined or held financially responsible.

Your Diboll Volunteer Fire Department will be here for you during the upcoming weather event as always.

Make preparations for the weather now.

Use caution with all heat sources and make sure no flammable materials are close.

Check your fire and smoke alarm’s batteries

If you use oxygen make sure you have spare bottles.

Do not drive if you don’t have to. If you find yourself needing help and none is available reach out and we will do what we can to help.

And lastly do not use unapproved gas heaters in your home and definitely do not use generators in your home or any enclosed areas
