Walls is now wanted on a third felony warrant.

Diboll Police Department Investigators are needing your help to locate Chas Walls. Walls is wanted through Diboll Police Department for sexual assault, possession of a controlled substance, and through the Angelina County Sheriff's Office for manufacture/ delivery of a controlled substance. Walls was last known to be in the Lufkin/ Diboll area.

If you know the whereabouts of Walls, call Crime Stoppers at (936)639-TIPS or submit a tip at 639TIPS.com.

Only tips and calls directly to Crime Stoppers are anonymous and reward eligible. With Crime Stoppers, the entire process from tip to reward, is handled without identifying the tipster.

Although we received our TPCA Accreditation back in March, last night we had the official presentation ceremony at City Council. Very honored to have Sheriff Selman, a Diboll Police alumni and fellow accredited department head present the award. Also in attendance were former chiefs Danny Ray, Rickey Conner and Steve Baker.

PSA!!! Lately we have been made aware of several scams making their way around with people claiming to be law enforcement and threatening arrest if you don’t make immediate payment.

No law enforcement officer will ever call you and ask for any immediate payment in lieu of jail. We do not ask you to get gift cards of any type and we do not ask for you banking information, ever! We will not tell you that you are under a gag order and cannot contact anyone.

If you have received any phone call or text and you even suspect it might be a scam, google the number for your local police department or sheriffs office (don’t trust a number a scammer gives you), call them and ask. We would much rather talk to you on the phone than have you fall victim to a scam.

Last night, Chief Skillern was honored to represent the Texas Police Chiefs Association and present the Nacogdoches Police Department with their fourth re-accreditation certificate from the Association’s accreditation program. Nacogdoches was the 24th police department accredited and has maintained that level of professionalism since 2010. We are very fortunate to have so many professional police organizations here in deep East Texas.
