SCAM ALERT

There is a scam that is occurring where someone is calling you and falsely identifying their self as an Angelina County Sheriff's Office Deputy or Jailer and advising you that you need to go to a local store and buy a digital code in order to place bond for your family member so they can get out of jail. The Sheriff's Office has made several posts regarding the scams so please do not fall victim to these scams.

No government entity will ask you to go pay a fine, fee, bond, etc.. by sending money digitally.

The scammer will also tell you not to hang up or tell anyone of what is occurring. If you hear this this should be a red flag for you to hang up.

Always remember, If you feel you are being scammed, hang up with the person and call Diboll PD 936-829-5586 and speak with one of our Officers.

We are honored to get to be apart of the best city and it’s apparent Rice Brothers agreed when they chose our beautiful town to call home!

The Diboll Day Queens are busy putting in a lot of effort for our town and community please make the effort to go to some of the awesome events they are hosting!
