🌲🤝 Yesterday, Diboll ISD was proud to participate in the Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas Summit: “The Power of Progress: Where Education Meets Industry.”

Events like this are important because the future of Deep East Texas depends on strong partnerships between public schools, higher education, and industry. When these groups work together, we can better prepare students for high-demand careers while supporting the economic growth of our region.

Diboll ISD has been one of the trailblazers in this work through our Advanced Manufacturing pathway, a partnership with Georgia-Pacific and Angelina College that provides students with real-world experiences, industry-aligned training, and opportunities to earn valuable credentials while still in high school.

A special thank you to our Engineering Teacher, Clint Walker, who represented Diboll ISD on a panel and shared our journey, lessons learned, and the impact these partnerships are having on students. His presentation highlighted how collaboration can create meaningful pathways from the classroom to the workforce.

We are grateful to Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas- American Job Center Network for bringing together educators, business leaders, community organizations, and policymakers to strengthen the talent pipeline across our region.

Together, we are helping ensure that students can build successful futures right here in Deep East Texas.

Summer break doesn’t mean the work stops at Diboll ISD.

Last week, our campus and district administrators participated in an intensive 3-day Curriculum Management Audit Training (CMAT). The training focused on strengthening curriculum, instruction, and assessment alignment to improve student learning and achievement.

As school leaders, we are first and foremost instructional leaders. This learning helped sharpen our understanding of curriculum management and will help guide our work as we prepare for the 2026-27 school year.

While students are enjoying summer, our team is busy learning, planning, and preparing for another great year for Lumberjack Nation.

🎉 DIBOLL ISD STUDENTS OUTPERFORM TEXAS IN EOC EXAMS 🎉

DIBOLL, Texas — Preliminary 2026 STAAR End-of-Course (EOC) results show Diboll High School students outperforming the State of Texas in four of the five tested subjects, with especially strong gains in Algebra I, Biology, and English courses.

The results, released Wednesday by the Texas Education Agency, reflect a year of significant academic growth for Diboll ISD and mirror statewide trends of improvement. Across Texas, the percentage of students achieving the “Meets Grade Level” standard increased in all five EOC subjects in 2026. Biology, English I, and English II performance statewide now exceeds
pre-pandemic levels.

What makes Diboll’s results stand out, however, is that the district exceeded the state average in most tested subjects—and often by substantial margins. Read the entire story here ⬇️

Parents and guardians, STAAR assessment results will soon be available through your parent portal.

✅ June 16 – Grades 3–8 Results Available

When results are released, you'll be able to:
