🇺🇸 Message from the City Manager
Today, as our nation commemorates the 250th Anniversary of American Independence, we pause to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and vision of those who laid the foundation for the United States of America.
For two and a half centuries, the ideals of liberty, freedom, opportunity, self-government, and community have guided our nation through challenges and triumphs alike. Independence Day is more than a celebration of our history; it is a reminder of our shared responsibility to preserve and strengthen the freedoms that generations before us worked so hard to secure.
Here in Dickinson, we are proud to be part of that enduring American story. Our community's strength comes from the dedication of our residents, businesses, first responders, veterans, civic organizations, and countless volunteers who work every day to make our city a place we are proud to call home.
As we celebrate this historic milestone with family, friends, and neighbors, let us honor the past, celebrate the present, and look forward with hope and confidence toward the future. May we continue to build a community and a nation worthy of the generations that will follow us.
On behalf of the City of Dickinson, I wish everyone a safe, happy, and memorable Independence Day.
