It's that time of year again where we recognize our team members for going above and beyond their call of duty in the betterment of our community!

First up are some of our milestone heroes;
Officer Anthony Ma**er is our first ever back-to-back Traffic Safety Officer of the Year for his dedicated efforts to traffic safety. This award is measured by enforcement numbers, grant participation, and setting the example to fellow officers.

Two of our newest officers come to us with prior military experience. Our department greatly appreciates their service to country, and now service to community. In recognition to their prior service, we recognize;

- Officer Tyler Hopper | United States Army
- Officer Franky Wyatt | North Dakota Army National Guard

Several of our staff reached 5 years of service with the department, and are awarded the Longevity Award;

- Corporal Alex Schroeder
- Senior Officer Jarett Blain
- Senior Officer Kayla Richard
- Senior Officer Dillon Praus

Last, we recognize several of our members for their dedicated commitment to community programs;

- Senior Officer Jarett Blain (DARE Program)
- Senior Officer Kayla Richard (DARE Program)
- Lieutenant Mike Hanel (Department 125th Celebration)
- Executive Assistant Darnyl Malkowski (Department 125th Celebration)

We are proud of each and everyone of these team members for their continued commitment and dedication to the department, the community, and our country!

Well done kiddo's!!!

Meet Mira and Hayden, 6th graders at Dickinson Middle School.

This morning, a friendly senior citizen took time out of her day to stop by DMS. Throughout the recent string of snowfalls, Mira and Hayden have been showing up on their own and volunteering to shovel her driveway.

She shared how impressed she’s been not only with their hard work, but with the polite, respectful interactions they have with her. Their kindness made such an impact that she wanted us to know.

Mira and Hayden, we’re proud of you for taking your PEAK behavior beyond our building and demonstrating positive citizenship in our community.
