The Future Public Servants aren't only involved with first responders, we are also involved with our community.

To the members who were apart of Future Public Servants of DC, Officer Jeremy Walls father, Former Sheriff Wall passed away last night. Here is his obituary information if anyone would like to go to visitation and/or his funeral. Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the Wall Family at this time.

Doyle Sterling Wall Age: 76

Of: Vanleer, Tennessee Died: Tuesday May 2, 2023 at his home in Vanleer surrounded by his family. Doyle was born August 27, 1946, to Sterling and Lucille Fiser Wall. He was a member of the Oak Avenue Church of Christ and lived for his 30-year career in Law enforcement. He worked for 11 years at the Dickson County Sherriff’s office. He was the Sherriff of Dickson County for 6 years and then worked for 19 Years at the Dickson Police Department where he retired. He was the former owner of Wall’s Bar-B-Que in Charlotte, a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, The Sheriff’s Association and Honorary member of the Charlotte Lions Club.

Visitation: will be 10 – 8 pm Wednesday and 10 – 2 on Thursday May 4, 2023, at the Spann Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Doyle Wall will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday May 4, 2023, from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Mitch Stevens and Bro. Mike Richardson officiating.

Interment: will be in the Union Cemetery in Dickson.

Our first out of school club meeting will be August 22 at EMS station 1 beginning at 5:00-6:00 pm. Our next school meeting will be August 23 in room 713 during CP. The DCHS Future Public Servants volunteered at Vanleer Elementary School. The DCHS Future Public Servants and a few of Youth Leadership students, went to volunteer at Vanleer Elementary's Annual Winter Festival. There, we helped run the cake walk, bingo, Ring-a-coke and so much more they had to offer. They kept us on our toes and we made sure everyone had a blast. Thanks so much for the wonderful hospitality we were shown and we hope you will have us back again next year!!!

DCHS Future Public Servants Christmas Party. The Future Public Servants Christmas Party was held on December 17 at DCHS. We had great food and desserts to eat. We played a game of Dirty Santa. Once all the food was gone and Dirty Santa was over, we all made our way to the Auditorium where we watched the movie "Elf". We all had a great time and enjoyed a great party. Merry Christmas!!!
