As we start a new year I’d like to reflect on 2025 . The people who make up the department are some of the greatest first responders/fire fighters I’ve been apart of in many years . They always go above the expectations every day. We’ve had plenty of great moments and a few not so good. We end 2025 with over 200 runs which are made up of medical calls ,structure fires , vehicle fires ,search and rescue operations, dive recovery, elementary school safety/ water fun , inspections , meetings , training and one very eventful day of parking cars at the high school . We seen death at 2 am and seen life saving medical care happen in the craziest places. I’m proud of the department we have become and hope we continue to grow . We make mistakes and learn everyday what not to do before, during and after a call but no matter what time of day or night we will respond and get the best care for the community.

I’d like to thank the community of Dierks and the Dierks Fire district for trusting in us to help them in their emergency when it arrives.

Thank you to the Mayor Ronnie Cogburn and the city council for supporting our efforts to keep Dierks Fire Department moving forward.

World War 2 hero Lt. Col Jimmy Doolittle once said “ There’s nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer” and we have the very best here in the little town of Dierks , Ar . Here’s to a great 2026 .

Air Evac 73 is honored and excited to get to deliver the TMobile Friday Night lights gameball to Dierks tonight. Assuming we don't end up being needed on an emergency we plan to land at 6:45pm. See you there!!!!!🏈
