After two successful kick-off events in March (Rendezvous with Rachael Revere and The Old Bristol Path), Dighton's celebration of the 250th anniversary of America continues through Veterans Day.

The Dighton 250th Anniversary Committee for America is pleased to share this calendar of events that includes activities sponsored by the Committee, Dighton Public Library, the Dighton Historical Society, and the Dighton Lions Club. Locations for the events vary. Please check with the event sponsor for times and locations.

Rendezvous with Rachel Revere at the Old Town Hall in Dighton, MA.

Rendezvous with Rachel Revere™ takes attendees back to May 2, 1775. Rachel Revere has only heard from her beloved husband Paul Revere once since his legendary midnight ride. Still isolated due to the Siege of Boston, Rachel desperately creates a plan to safely take her children, six step-children from Paul’s first marriage and a newborn baby of their own, from the reach of the British Army in Boston. In this Immersive Living History Experience, the audience assists Rachel as she carefully considers the dangers and demands of her escape plan. Find out if Rachel is successful in her perilous mission to reunite her family, amidst the wake of the American Revolution. (Suitable for all ages)
