Lane County property owners are reminded that the second half of 2025 property taxes are due on or before May 11, 2026.
To avoid penalties and interest, payments must be received by the due date. Payments may be made by phone, by mail or in person at the Lane County Treasurer’s Office.

Summer Position open for the Lane County Appraiser’s Office - Responsibilities include assisting with reinspection of properties in the County (measuring, classifying, gathering data for real estate), scanning documents, and working on various County projects. Proficiencies desired: general computer experience, general knowledge of mathematics, attention to detail, and operation of basic office equipment. Must be able to work in the office and out in the field walking in all types of weather and lift 20 lbs. Great summer job for high school student or para. Lane County is an EOE. HELP WANTED: Lane County Clerk Office has a full-time position open for Deputy County Clerk.
Requirements: friendly, dependable, organized, customer service skills, computer skills (MS Word/Excel), able to climb stairs, lift 20 lbs. Prior clerical experience helpful. Duties will include accounts payable, general bookkeeping, customer assistance with licenses, deed work, elections, and general secretarial duties. Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle numerous duties at one time is required.
Background check, pre-employment alcohol and drug testing required. Salary based on experience.

Notice of special meeting: The Lane County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 9:00 am in the Commissioner's Room at 144 S. Lane, 2nd floor. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss end-of-year transfers and salary worksheets.
