D**e Fire/Rescue is deeply saddened by the loss of two Iowa National Guard soldiers yesterday.
Our thoughts are with their families, fellow service members, friends, and the communities they served during this difficult time. We honor their sacrifice, their service, and their dedication to protecting others. 🇺🇸🙏🏼
Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We are saddened to learn of the attack on our Soldiers , this however hits close to home with it being attack on the Iowa National Guard.

Our prayers are with the Soldiers and families of the Iowa National Guard. We have learned that one of the Soldiers killed in action is the son of Chief Bunn of the Meskwaki Nation Police Department. Our hearts go out to Chief Bunn and his wife Misty. Please keep these Iowa families in your prayers .
