8/11/2026 UPDATE ON WATER OUTAGE for those on the water line around Betty's Creek Road, Colony Road and Back Street. The scheduled repairs for last night took place. Unfortunately, during the reconnection a waterline broke. The repairs should be complete by lunch time today.

SCHEDULED WATER OUTAGE HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED. Monday August 10th the water will be turned off at 9pm and is scheduled to be back on at 5am the next morning.

8/5/2026: There will be road construction at the entrance Betty Whitecloud St at 441 all day. You will have to enter Betty Whitecloud St from Betty's Creek Road.

SCHEDULED WATER OUTAGE IN DILLARD MONDAY NIGHT: Monday August 3rd at 10:00 PM, the water will be cut off to do a waterline tie-in. It is scheduled to be off approximately 6 hours from 10:00 PM until 4:00 AM Tuesday morning.

The water outage today 7/29/2026 around 11am was from a water line break in Mountain City. Please follow the Rabun County Water Authority Guidelines for this outage at https://rcwsa.org/. They have put out a boil water advisory until further notice.

7/29/2026 11:20am The City of Dillard just received notification that the water main line was hit in Mountain City. We do not have any time frames at this time when the repairs will be complete.

7/27/2026: A portion of Betty Whitecloud St will be closed this afternoon to repair a waterline. Those affected will need to use Betty’s creek Rd then turn on Back St.
