This is a new evil from ICE: hunting families at school bus stops in Danbury. Waiting until children board before arresting their parents. Inflicting unthinkable terror and trauma on elementary schoolers and pretending this has anything to do with public safety.

I’m in Danbury today standing with the community, helping immigrants know their rights and demanding accountability for those being detained.

This has to stop.

The conditions in ICE detention centers are outrageous. Worms. Standing sewage water. Measles outbreaks.
